The Castle Hill is a green oasis above our city. Ljubljana Castle is a holder of the Green Key certificate and the Slovenia Green Attraction label, so we invite visitors to choose one of the sustainable ways to get to Ljubljana Castle, such as by funicular or the Urban electric train, by foot or by bicycle; all options can be found at this link.
If you do arrive at the Castle Park by car, there is a paid parking lot in the area, Ljubljana Castle, with 40 parking spaces; one of these is intended for people with reduced mobility or the disabled, and two spaces, equipped with an electric charging station, are intended for electric vehicles.
Access to Ljubljana Castle and parking at the castle are prohibited for tourist buses and motorhomes.
