The cave is suitable for visiting all year round since the conditions inside never change. The temperature stays between 8 to 10 °C, with humidity reaching nearly 100%.
The guided tour lasts approximately an hour. During the walk, we climb and descend 1050 steps (525 in each direction). Visitors with heart conditions or mobility issues should reconsider this tour.
We recommend suitable footwear for walking on uneven and occasionally slippery terrain (steps, stone, damp floor) and warm clothing.
The halls are located at different elevation levels, with the tour’s lowest point plunging 72 meters beneath the surface. During the tour, we need to overcome a 100-meter difference in elevation in one direction which is due to transitioning between halls. The varying ceiling heights demand careful movement in some sections. Your adventure begins and ends at the same cave entrance.
Caves are a very important and sensitive ecosystem! Carefully review our CAVE ETIQUETTE GUIDELINES to protect these ancient chambers during your visit.
